Description Adamus - set of 100

Great relief for men whose mobility is restricted is promised by the new disposable urinal from Adamus: it allows for hygienically perfect and soundless urinating mainly without help by others and not being dependent on barrier-free access to the next toilet.

The clou of the innovative product: with its superabsorbent core adamus transforms the liquid into odour-neutral gel within seconds and is therefore absolutely leak proof. The urinal can be used discretly and disposed without problems in common waste bins. These advantages also mean an enormous relief for the daily work of the staff in the field of rehab as well as in ambulant care and attendance.

The product effects reduction of costs in hospitals, because it saves working time and avoids stress. Time spent walking to the patient as well as assisting the patient going to the toilet can be reduced that way.

It is also a relief for the patients, because the male patient can independently and discreetly fulfill his needs. Therefore the urinal creates a feeling of security, also in rehabilitation at home. In principle the handily packed one-way urinal (13x10, 8mm flat, 23g light) is usable for the person concerned in any situation; sitting, standing, lying and squatting. The product consists of one piece, being composed of a ring, a nozzle and a receptacle. The ring serves as a fastener, the nozzle allows for perfect running-in of the liquid. The urinal has a capacity of 750ml (average micturition 450ml).
Thanks to a superabsorber the liquid is transformed into gel within seconds and cannot leak out anymore.

The specification of PCT (international patent) was realized for USA, Canada, Japan and Europe in November 2006. On August 30, 2005, the trademark adamus ® was registered at German Patent and Trademark Office under number 305 26 235. The trademark right 'Gebrauchsmuster' was registered for the product adamus ® by German Patent and Trademark Office under number 20 2004 021 135.1 on December 14, 2006.
