The new Beurer blood pressure monitor combines ease of use and precision

It is important a regular monitoring of blood pressure, especially for the elderly. But the uncertainty in dealing with technical equipment and sensorimotor constraints often complicate the measurement at home. With the new blood pressure monitor Beurer BM40, you can accurately and easily measure your own blood pressure. It offers a simple handling thanks to a very easy to read 8.5 x 5.4 cm display with contrast digits. The BM40 stores all morning and evening readings from the last seven days and calculates the average value. Overall, it has 2 x 60 memory spaces and displays the date as well as the time. Thanks to the WHO indicator, users can easily interpret the measurement results: The bar graph on the display and a scale reading on the device indicate the range of the determined blood pressure. In addition, the automatic arrhythmia detection signalizes possible heart rhythm disorders. For added security, the blood pressure monitor warns of a false application, for example when measured directly after physical activity or if the cuff is not properly attached to the upper arm. Last but not least, the user can collect the values in the corresponding blood pressure card to assist his doctor with the regular monitoring of the blood pressure.
