The days of bed pans or hot-water bottles seem to belong to the past. What used to be laborious and only efficient for a relatively small area is today, thanks to under blankets, much easier and more comfortable to achieve: a cosy, warm sleeping environment. Especially on cold winter nights, or when due to a sickness the need for heat has increased, you will enjoy the advantages of an electric under blanket like the Beurer UB 83. With this special kind of electric under blanket you can set the temperature for the foot zone separately. It happens very often, that the feet need more warmth than the rest of the body. Other people prefer exactly the opposite. Both types of people will have no problem adjusting the Beurer UB83 to their needs. There are a total of 9 temperature levels to choose from - or each zone. The big advantage of an electric under blanket is that the fine heating wires guarantee a truly constant and evenly distributed heat.

The Beurer UB 83 is made from teddy fleece and offers other special features: Thanks to the Eco control function you are able to see the respective consumption in kWh. In addition, this Beurer electric under blanket is equipped with an individually adjustable timer. If you don't want to turn off the heating completely, but want to change to a lower heat after a certain period during the night, you can use the automatic switch, which will take care of it after 3 hours. Thanks to the integrated quick heating, the Beurer UB 83 preheats itself in just about 15 minutes.

It is best to place the electric under blanket as even as possible under the bed sheets, so that it doesn't lay in wrinkles. About a quarter of an hour before going to bed you can turn it on and choose the desired temperature level. Soon you can enjoy a pre-heated bed, in which the temperature remains constant for a long time. The heat provides another benefit: it helps reducing the presence of mites, which is beneficial for people with allergies to dust mites.
For your security, the UB 83 has the proven Beurer BSS system included, which is a security system that prevents the under blanket from overheating. In case you need to wash the electric under blanket, you can simply remove the cable and wash the blanket in the machine at max 30 °C.
