After trimming the nails with scissors or a nail clipper, file the nails down to the desired shape with the Scholl velvet smooth nail care system. You can shape your fingernails any way you like. As for the toenails, a square shape is recommended in order to prevent ingrowing of the nail into the surrounding skin.

The Scholl nail care device's smoothing attachments lets you smooth the nail surface at the push of a button. This compensates for unevenness and prepares the nail for polishing. Smoothing of each individual nail should not take longer than 15 seconds and only take place about every 2 weeks to avoid excessive strain.

The Scholl velvet smooth nail care system also helps you polish the nails. The polishing gives nails a natural shine. If necessary, you can repeat this step to obtain the desired shine.
