You can find a sauna spirit in almost all Finnish saunas. This sauna spirit is made from 100% Finnish soapstone. It provides a realistic sauna feeling, since it fits perfectly in both shape and material, into a sauna based on natural materials. You can use the Hukka Löylynhenki sauna spirit to fill the air with relaxing aromas using concentrates added to the water. Alternatively, you can bring the stone, after heating it thoroughly between the sauna stones, into the infusion water so the water evaporates from contact with the hot stone.
Sauna applications strengthen the circulatory system, protect you from colds and make your skin look beautifully. What makes a sauna application so special is the alternation of hot and cold, which strengthens the immune system in a natural way. The Hukka Löylynhenki sauna spirit weighs less than 1 kg, it has a diameter of 86 mm and measures 110 mm in height. It features a tiny basin, which you can fill with your favorite sauna oil concentrate. If you choose this option, it is best to put the sauna spirit between the hot lava stones on the sauna stove. Due to the heat of the stone the concentrate will gradually evaporate.

Still it had to wait for quite a long time before anybody understood to start making all sorts of items of it. Tens of thousands of years of midnight sun in the summer and beautiful symphonies of northern lights in the winter made the stone even more special.
