      It is important to use your Medisana foot warmer properly. Make sure it is not folded or creased before use and ensure you have both covers on correctly before turning it on. Slide your foot slowly into the warmer to test the temperature (do not use your hands - they are not as sensitive). For your safety, the foot warmer will turn itself off after 120 minutes of continuous use.

      Always make sure that the foot warmer is not creased or folded while it is in use. You must always use the foot warmer with both covers. Switch the appliance on with the sliding switch on the control unit.

      Switch level 0 = Appliance switched off
      Switch level 1 = Heat low
      Switch level 2 = Heat medium
      Switch level 3 = Heat high

      While the foot warmer is heating up, the indicator light is lit. As soon as the indicator light goes out, this means that the heat level set has been reached and will be maintained.

      You can now enjoy the pleasant warmth at your feet. After approx. 120 minutes the foot warmer automatically switches off. To switch the foot warmer on again, you must first move the sliding switch to position 0. After approx. 5 seconds you can switch the foot warmer back on by sliding the switch to level 1, 2 or 3. You can stop using the appliance at any time by moving the sliding switch to position 0. Disconnect the plug from the mains socket when you are not using the foot warmer.

      Do not rely on your hands to test the heat of the foot warmer. Hands are considerably less sensitive towards heat than the rest of the body's surface. A temperature which is judged by the hand to be slightly warm can be felt by the feet to be unpleasantly hot.
