      Acupuncture as therapy for sickness and pain has established in Switzerland. There are good results, especially when it comes to chronic pain, such as migraine, backache, rheumatic disorders, joint pain, etc... You can also treat with acupuncture acute pain, such as headaches or toothaches.

      A modern method with long tradition.
      The traditional Chinese medicine recognizes acupuncture since more than 2,000 years and uses it with many symptoms. In Europe, this method of treatment started to be implemented more widely from the 1970s. Since then the method prevailed more and more. Studies have shown that sometimes it is possible to cure chronic diseases easier with acupuncture than with conventional medicine.

      Anyone who suffers from chronic pain knows that it will affect all life *:
      • Almost three quarters of people affected complain about movement restrictions.
      • Two-thirds can no longer work outside home.
      • Around 20 per cent have to change their jobs.
      • 64 percent suffer from disturbed sleep.
      • A quarter of the patients are unable to maintain their friendships and get into social isolation.
      • 52 percent see their sexual relationships restricted.
      • 20 percent of pain patients develop depression.
