  • Description Turbo med Bandage for the wrist

    • This TurboMed Wrist Bandage allows for free movement of the fingers, so that you can perform work without pain, yet does not interfere with the healing process.

      • Stable orthosis for immobilizing the hand

The Turbo med bandages are special thermodynamic bandages, which consist of three different layers. They develop not only a stabilizing and supporting effect, but also encourage the oxygen and nutrient supply in the affected part of the body, promoting the healing process. The Turbo med wrist brace with thumb stabilization is comfortable to wear even during a long period of time.

Pain therapy - applicable for the following indications:
      • Carpal tunnel syndrome
      • Mouse hand
      • Tendonitis
      • Rheumatism
      • Strain of the wrist
      • Immobilization of the wrist after non-osseous injury
      • Radial nerve paralysis (drop hand)
      • For support in plaster casts
      • Supports and protects the hand after bruises or sprains, so that the injury can heal without disturbance
      • Postoperative after fractures

  • Application Turbo med Bandage for the wrist

    • • Bandage with fixed, internal, ergonomic aluminum rail
      • Fixation of the wrist
      • No obstruction during work, since the fingers remain mobile
      • The tension can be adjusted by means of 4 adjustable Velcro fasteners and the tensioning straps on the wrist
      • Comfortable to wear despite strong stabilization and immobilization
      • External insulation - yet breathable
      • Local temperature rise by 2°C + 33% Increase of blood flow
consequently increased oxygen and nutrient supply
      • Micro-massage for activating the metabolism

Turbo med fabric consists of three layers:
1 Elastic fabric: This layer shapes and supports. The uniform pressure together with the structure of the cotton fabric provides a constant micro-massage. The fabric is bielastic (= longitudinal and transverse elastic).
2 Natural caoutchouc: This material increases the temperature of the affected body area and thus enables the micro-circulation and an improved oxygen delivery. This stimulates the metabolism so that injuries can heal faster.
3 Hypoallergenic Cotton: This is the layer that is directly in contact with the skin. It guarantees highest comfort, while avoiding possible allergic reactions.

It is best to wash the bandage with mild detergent or with PH neutral soap at 30 °C/40 °C by hand or with the gentle cycle of the washing machine. Do not put it in the dryer! Do not iron the belt! Do not dry clean it!
