Alkaline baths have been known for centuries for their detoxifying and cleansing effects. They are beneficial to the skin, the body's largest organ. Through our modern lifestyle, diet and stress, our bodies often become acidified. The detoxifying and cleansing effect of the Helfe alkaline bath is the ideal way to naturally regulate the body's acid-base balance in the long term, and purifying the skin to make it silky soft and clean.

Horsetail belongs to the fern plant family. The active ingredients of this fine plant have a stimulating effect on the skin's metabolism. As a result, the extract has a purifying and detoxing effect that is also used to support slimming cures. The contained silica also supports in firming and strengthening the skin. Horsetail is also sometimes referred to as snake grass.

A foot bath with Helfe foot bath salt is what your feet need when they are tired, especially after spending a long day standing and walking. During the cold winter months it becomes very difficult to keep the feet warm despite wearing warm socks and boots. In this case, a foot bath with Helfe salt and warm water is the perfect solution. If in addition to keeping them warm you want to pamper them a little bit more, then a bath with hot water is ideal to soften calluses or corns.

Towel for the foot care, 30 x 50 cm: small, handy and highly absorbent towel, perfect for drying the feet after a footbath and during pedicures.

The highly absorbent towel made of 100% cotton is quickly available when needed. It's size fits well for drying smaller areas of the body such as the feet.

Bath recommendations:
• Water temperature: about 35 °C
• Dosage: 2-3 tablespoons, depending on the size of the bathtub

The optimum effect is achieved with a pH of 8-9.5. The hardness of the regional tap water as well as the size of the bath can affect the resulting pH of the bath, so the individual dosage should be measured using a pH strip.

A bath time of at least 40 minutes is recommended for achieving an optimal effect. However, you can enjoy a bath for up to 2 hours.

People with sensitive skin will notice the benefits of using horsetail extract in the bath. Thanks to the silica found in the product, this bath purifies and tightens the skin.

Furthermore, the employed vacuum extraction method, by which a boiling point is reached at around 30 °C, is particularly gentle to the heat-sensitive active substances of plants.

As a result, a highly concentrated active ingredient content is ensured - the best indicator of the high quality of Helfe products.

Helfe salt for foot baths:
To make cold feet feel warm again, or to relax and revitalize your tired feet: Add 1-2 tbsp. of foot bath salt to warm water. Immerse your feet in it for 15-20 minutes.

To soften corns or calluses: Mix 2-3 liters of hot water with about 3-4 tbsp. of foot bath salt. Bath duration: 20-25 minutes.

Use a towel after each session or whenever it is necessary. This towel can be machine washed at 60 °C.
