  • Description Medisana trekking poles

    • These walking and trekking poles can make your walks safer and easier. They support you on all types of terrain, such as difficult uphill or downhill walking, and will not only help increase performance but also protect your health. High-quality materials and adjustable telescopic lengths are a real relief on all types of trails. If you suffer from heart and circulation problems, consult your doctor before using themproduct in any type of sport.
It is advisable to wear sports shoes with good tread and side support.
Fold up the poles when not in use, for example, to transport in a rucksack.

Make sure that the grips of the poles are pointing upwards, and not the tips.
  • Application Medisana trekking poles

    • Safe shopping: You can pay with invoice.
      Mounting the trekking discs
      1. Pull off the tip protector from the end of the pole.
      2. Slide the trekking disc up to the top of the pole until the disc has clearly gone over the plastic rim.

      Adjusting the pole length
Optimal pole length = roughly 0.66 x body height in cm.
      1. Release the blocking system by carefully turning (page 2, section A).
      2. Adjust the pole to the required length by pulling it in or out (page 2, section B).
      3. Use the cm scale on the pole to help you adjust the length (the
lower part must be extended until the stop mark).
      4. Then tighten it again (page 2, section C). Make sure that you never pull it past the "STOP" mark and tighten it there (page 2, section D).

      Walking on flat ground
Put your lower arm into a 90° position and move the pole in time with
your step. Make sure the poles are the same length.

      Walking across a slope
In this case, the upper pole needs to be shortened and the lower pole
extended to provide support on both sides.

      Uphill and downhill
For going uphill, the poles need to be shortened to provide the best
support. For coming downhill, the poles need to be extended to allow you to
keep a comfortable, upright body position.

Hiking is a physical activity that is generally being practiced outside in the mountain. It consists of finding a way to follow a distance, with equipment to reach a specific goal, example: the tops of the mountains, lakes, shelters or points of support etcÂ…It can be associated with activities such as bird watching, the observation of the flora or the visit of monuments
