  • Description Medisana TM A79

    • The Medisana TMA79 non-contact infrared thermometer allows a really fast and reliable fever measurement. In just a few seconds, you can get the result, simply after holding the thermometer in front of the forehead (approx. 1-5 cm distance). This infrared body thermometer is also suitable for measuring the surface temperature, e.g. of liquids. The measuring mode can be changed simply by pressing the mode button.

      A non-contact fever measurement is of great advantage. It allows a particularly hygienic method of measurement, and helps to measure the body temperature on sleeping persons. The Medisana TM A79 is therefore also suitable for primary health care as a screening instrument. In addition, this infrared thermometer can also be used to measure object temperatures in the range of 0-100 degrees Celsius. The thermometer offers two modes for this purpose: the 'Body' mode and the 'Surface' mode.

      The Medisana TM A79 clinical thermometer automatically saves the last measured temperature value before the thermometer is switched off (max. 50 results in total). In addition, you can make some individual settings: You can choose between the measurement unit Celsius or Fahrenheit. You can set the fever alarm temperature. And you can set whether the beep should be on or off. This is helpful if you want to take the temperature on a sleeping child or baby, for example, and if you prefer a completely silent reading.
